Women In Touch

✨ Our August Donation Recipient: Mujeres Omega Foundation ✨

This August, we’re proud to support Mujeres Omega Foundation, an Edmonton-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering Latina women, youth, and families through education, mentorship, leadership, creativity, and meaningful community connections.

We’re also incredibly excited to be part of the launch of Mujeres que Inspiran (Women Who Inspire), a new monthly video interview series presented by Mujeres Omega Foundation in collaboration with Colombian journalist Isabel Cardona and hosted right here at El Mero Mero Taquería.

Each month, the series will introduce you to an inspiring Latina woman and share the stories, experiences, resilience and leadership that are helping shape our community.

For us, El Mero Mero has always been about more than Mexican food. It’s about culture, connection and creating a place where our community feels at home. Opening our doors to Mujeres que Inspiran is another way we get to celebrate the incredible people and stories within Edmonton’s Latino community.

We’re honoured to support Mujeres Omega Foundation throughout August and to be part of this new initiative.

Every woman has a story worth telling, and we can’t wait for you to meet the women behind these stories. ❤️
