We’re excited to launch Mending Hope 🧵💛
In this program, we team up with The Mended Thread to teach you simple hand sewing skills so you can fix and take care of your own clothes and shoes. From jackets to jeans to boots — you’ll learn how to make your stuff last longer and stay in good shape.
It’s hands-on, chill, and you’ll build skills you can actually use in everyday life (and keep forever).
New skills. Real-life use. A little more independence each week

Youth make up approximately 20% of the homeless population in Canada, meaning each year at least 35,000–40,000 young Canadians have no place to call home.
This is why The Home Depot Spring Orange Door Project Campaign matters. Until June 14, you can support youth at risk of or experiencing homelessness by donating $3, $5, or $10 at 7 locations across Edmonton or online at orangedoorproject.ca.
100% of donations stay local and directly support youth in our community through YESS — helping create safety, stability, and a place to belong.
