Go Mazda is honored to recognize Dogs With Wings – Assistance Dog Society, as our Mazda Local Legend.

Elisa Irlam and her team are celebrating their 30-year anniversary this year, transforming the lives and well being of people in our community with their service dogs.

Their programs include mobility services, facility, and companion. All of which helps those with physical disabilities. facility dogs that help in the Stollery Children’s hospital, RCMP, courtrooms to help families such as victims of crime, schools, enhancing social interactions and supporting well being, and so much more! These dogs are there during the hardest moments.

Dogs with Wings rely on over 200 volunteers each year with a 2-year training program for each dog. On average, the cost to breed, raise, train and place one assistance dog is $50,000 – which they rely solely on the goodwill of the community as they are a charitable organization.
