Edmonton Realtor Forum
FORUM - For Realtors in Edmonton and Greater
Networking, Education, Shared Stories and Experiences
Most agents celebrate getting the listing.
The better question is: will it sell?
Every listing costs time, money, and energy. If it never sells, you've spent resources and potentially taken a hit to your reputation.
Sometimes the smartest business decision isn't taking the listing. It's having the tough pricing conversation and walking away when it doesn't make sense.
What would you do: take the listing or pass on it?

Back in February, Kanani Ching absolutely delivered. 🚀
What made her keynote so impactful wasn’t just the AI knowledge. It was the way she made such a fast-moving topic feel practical, approachable, and actually useful for Realtors in the real world.
From automation and visibility to trust and relationship building in an AI-driven world, there were a lot of moments that had the room thinking differently about where our industry is headed and how we can adapt without losing the human side of this business.
One of the biggest takeaways? AI isn’t here to replace great Realtors. It’s here to help great Realtors operate better, faster, and more intentionally.
Huge thank you again to Kanani for bringing so much value to the Edmonton Realtor Forum and challenging all of us to think bigger about what’s possible moving forward. 🔥
Most agents plateau because they keep doing the same activities that got them there in the first place.
Growth in this business usually comes from:
• doubling down on what actually works
• cutting low ROI activities
• building a strong repeat + referral system
• staying consistent with past clients
Real estate is a compounding business. The agents who stay top of mind are the ones who build long-term momentum.
What’s been the biggest game changer in your business?
Competing offers are back. And this is where agents either step up or fall behind.
Your clients don’t need a menu of options. They need direction. Clear, confident guidance on what actually wins.
The difference right now is in the prep:
Pre-approvals done. Deposits ready. Dates understood.
Then it’s how clean you can make the offer. Tight timelines. Flexible possession. Fewer conditions. Less friction.
Multiple offers aren’t about luck. They’re about strategy and ex*****on.
What strategies are you seeing work right now? Drop them in the comments.

Two panels that sparked some really solid conversations.
We covered what it actually takes to stay steady in a changing market, along with a real look at new builds from the people working in it every day. Six professionals, six different perspectives, and a lot of honest insight shared.
If you were there, you know how good the discussions were. Always interesting to hear how others are approaching the same challenges.
If you want more business this year, it’s not complicated… you just have to ask.
Most deals don’t stall because people say no. They stall because no one asked what’s next.
From contact info to closing, your job is to guide the next step. Asking isn’t pushy. It’s leadership.
Start asking.

Did you get your face on a cookie… or did you miss out? 👀🍪
At the Edmonton Realtor Forum in February, A Buyer’s Choice Home Inspections was printing REALTORS® headshots onto cookies right at their booth…
These two clearly understood the assignment 😆
Something new this year—and it quickly became a highlight.
The first Realtor Round Tables gave everyone the chance to choose the topic that actually matters to their business and sit down for a focused, open discussion with other agents.
No stage. No presentations. Just honest conversations, different perspectives, and ideas you can actually take back and use.
This is the kind of collaboration the Edmonton Realtor Forum was built for.
If you weren’t in the room this time… make sure you save the date for our Summer Social - July 15!
After a quieter January, Edmonton’s housing market picked up momentum in February.
Sales rebounded, buyer activity increased — especially in detached homes — and new listings started hitting the market.
Prices remain relatively stable, showing that demand is still strong even as conditions shift.
What are you seeing in the market right now — more activity, or still warming up? 👇
