Over my career as a pilot I've experienced all the things...biases, sexism, double standards, being treated differently etc. and it did effect my confidence and how I saw myself.

But I learned it didn't have to be that way. I learned I could feel empowered to be myself (even though I was different) and I could feel confident to show up as myself at work and in life, without apologizing or making myself small or worrying what everyone else would think of me.
