✨ARTIST BIO✨ - As a school teacher, I spent summer holidays immersing myself in the art of soap making and the privilege of learning from renowned soap artists in Japan, Korea and Taiwan. A passionate pursuit of creating exquisite, handcrafted soaps was ignited!
** Our collection features vegan, palm-free handmade soaps and exquisite handmade woodwork pieces like trays and dishes for our products
** With Japanese craftsmanship, we use natural ingredients and color extracted from plants, avoiding synthetic dyes and chemicals for a gentle touch on your skin and the environment
** Embracing our eco-friendly ethos, we opt for handmade cedar trays instead of paper boxes and reducing waste
*Our soaps contain Shea and cocoa butter sourced from West Africa in support of a women's group dedicated to educating their children.

✨ARTIST BIO✨ - Tucked away on beautiful Bowen Island, you'll find Lisa and Bernd naturally growing a countless variety of culinary herbs. What they cannot grow and harvest themselves they source from local organic farmers, then dehydrate fresh & blend by hand in small batches before filling into mills.

For their smoked salts and peppercorns, they collect the clippings from the trees of their small orchard to smoke a unique cedar smoked pepper as well as cedar, apple, maple and cherry salt. Delicious on almost everything!

Feeling FESTIVE? Try their mulling spice, originating from an old family recipe that uses only authentic ingredients.

MEET The MAKER MONDAY! Welcome Elissa Jane Designs to the Silk Threads Christmas craft show, happening this Nov 2-4.

✨ARTIST BIO✨ - I was born and raised in Richmond, BC and currently reside in Merritt with my husband and two dogs. A longtime appreciation for the outdoors and nature is where my love for beautiful gemstones may have been born. My passion is creating one of a kind, delicate pieces using only quality mediums such as Sterling Silver and 14kt. Gold wire, findings and gemstones. My inspiration? My community and clients. I enjoy working with every one of them!

Silk Threads 2023 - a special year at Silk Threads 🎄 November 2, 3, & 4! We are returning to the original "Silk Threads House"! Once again, the house doors will open to the beautiful spiral staircase and open layout, complete with the warm, cozy, and elegance that guests of Silk Threads have come to enjoy over the years.
