Au refuge, Chatou peut parfois démontrer un certain caractère. Il est important de se rappeler que l'environnement du refuge est très stressant pour les animaux et que certains expriment leur inconfort à leur façon. Malgré cela, Chatou fait de beaux progrès chaque jour et nous montre tranquillement sa véritable personnalité.

Une fois en confiance et bien installé dans son nouveau foyer, Chatou se révèle être un gentil compagnon qui apprécie la tranquillité et la stabilité. Il aura besoin d'une famille patiente qui lui laissera le temps de s'adapter à son rythme et de développer un lien de confiance.

Chatou est compatible avec les autres chats. La cohabitation avec les chiens est inconnue. En raison de son tempérament et de son besoin de calme, il n'est pas compatible avec les jeunes enfants.
