Strathcona Tree Care are seeking an Experienced Climbing Arborist to join our team.
Strathcona Tree Care is a SAFE Certified Company with the BC Forest Safety Council. Our team manage tree care/removal projects for Municipal, Commercial and Residential Clients on Vancouver Island. We are based out of Courtenay in the Comox Valley and service Central/North Vancouver Island.
Strathcona Tree Care Climbing Arborist;
Perform ground, climbing and aerial lift duties to support team in completing assigned tasks. Professional, safe, and competent in working at heights. Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and show up as a team member. Treat others how you would expect to be treated and lead by example.
MUST
β’ 3-5 Years Climbing Experience.
β’ ISA Certified Arborist.
β’ Valid BC Drivers Licence.
β’ Ability to Climb SRS & MRS, Advanced Rigging and Prune to Arboriculture Industry Standard.
β’ Physically fit, able to work in the coastal rainforest climate.
PREFERRED
β’ Certified Utility Arborist.
β’ BC Certified Faller or WUAA/HEBC Falling and Bucking Endorsement.
β’ Air Brakes Endorsement.
β’ Minimum Basic First Aid.
Compensation based on qualifications and experience can expect $32-$42 per hour, health benefit plan eligible for medical/dental services, continuing education/training, PPE and uniform supplied.
