Another great weekend across SD&G with events in Cornwall, Newington, Moose Creek and Wi******er.

Thanks to all the volunteers and businesses who put on a variety of things to do: breakfasts, business expos, open houses, dinners and the Big Buck contest.

I’m proud to volunteer and help with the 100 Men Who Care North Dundas and the 100 Women Who Care North Dundas, who since 2018 have raised $203,600 for local charities.

It is a pleasure to welcome the newest class of Conservative interns to Parliament Hill!

We are happy to have Daelan join our team for the next few months to gain some experience and learn new skills.

The internship is a great program to meet and train these bright young students as the next generation of leaders in our conservative movement.

Thanks to the Canadian Cancer Society for an informative meeting, which included local cancer survivor Jason Abramovitch from South Mountain.

We had a productive conversation about how the federal level of government can support those affected by cancer, and the ways to improve the approvals process for clinical trials and new technologies.

Congratulations to Lloyd and Troy on the 50th anniversary of Lloyd McMillan Equipment Ltd. in Iroquois!

They are a great example of a hardworking and customer-oriented small business who are well respected in the community. It was nice to see the huge turnout today at their Open House to celebrate with them.

Thanks to the hundreds of people who dropped by our booth at the North Dundas Local Business Expo on Saturday.

My team and I had some great chats and got some good feedback to take back to Ottawa.
