AtSource is pleased once again to be able to transform an outdated waste and recycling equipment system and replace it with a modern and cost effective new solution to pioneer the way into the next few decades. Once again our installation team delivered a very nice overall finished system and the customer is delighted.

We are aware of a post circulating regarding one of our vehicles at McDonalds and want to clear up a misunderstanding of the situation. We would like to clarify that this was a scheduled 10-minute service call.
Due to our service vehicle’s size, our technician parked in the receiving area per the restaurant’s procedure and with the store manager’s knowledge and approval. While one drive-thru lane was temporarily occupied, a second lane remained open to ensure no disruption to customers.
We thank you for your concerns and remain committed to professional service.

Our installation crew really did a great job to remodel an older triple stacking compactor system into a new waste and recycling system of one larger self contained compactor and a baler inside of an insulated enclosure. It looks sharp.

Getting with the times always carried a little nostalgia. After leading the compactor industry with installing over 100 double stacking (and many triple stacking) compactor systems over the last 25 years, their reign with customers' needs is coming to an end.

This is (or was) a triple stacking compactor system that consisted of a 6 yard vertical compactor on a hydraulic drawbridge system for waste, a 16 yard self-contained compactor on the bottom for organics, and a 42 yard compactor on the top for cardboard that served well for 25 years.

In with the new - this system has now been replaced with a single 30 yard self-contained compactor for waste using our fullness monitoring system to minimize hauling needs and a vertical baler for cardboard recycling eliminating all future and frequent compactor hauling needs; all equipment supplied is Canadian manufactured. Organics is diverted to charities and local farms. Now, we have about 75 more to convert - it's going to be a busy 2025.

AtSource has been supplying top quality Canadian manufactured equipment to our customers for years; we always have vertical balers and compactors in our inventory so there is never a need to wait months for an order elsewhere.

Working with Mda compaction / Metallurgie des Appalaches in Quebec has been an absolute pleasure over the years for our baler and compactor needs. They have always been willing to adapt to our changes and have treated AtSource with class and respect each and every day in every way.

AtSource recently received a little surprise when we were offloading another batch of 10 inventory balers; this batch included our 100th baler that we have now ordered. MDA sent a commemorative banner with every employee in the company signing it, a hoodie for every AtSource employee, as well as a box with maple syrups, and also a maple syrup libation bottle. Pure class. Thank you, Mda compaction / Metallurgie des Appalaches. Here's to our next 100!

Our customer in West Vancouver did not have much space available in their back of house for a large baler so after measuring twice and ordering once, AtSource supplied the customer with a perfect solution for a slightly smaller baler that fit snug as a bug.

The customer is happy to remove their old compactor; it frees up another loading bay and hauling costs have been eliminated for their cardboard recycling. The customer just ordered another identical baler for a different location with similar space restraints.
