A look back at a lift we completed a while ago with Beebs behind the controls of our Manitex 50-ton boom truck.
Having an experienced operator like Beebs makes all the difference, keeping things moving efficiently while making sure our customers have what they need to stay on schedule and continue their work and great attitude throughout the day
Another great day out in the field with the McIntyre crew, getting the job done and keeping our customers happy
Let’s hope the copyright system is a little friendlier to us this time around!

Right next to the track, but these lifts still had to get done, and our crew found the right way to make it happen
Hoisting in neighbourhoods like this takes some extra planning and a good understanding of the site. Our team looked at the available options, worked through the setup, and made the call on the best approach to get these units where they needed to go safely and efficiently
That ability to find the right solution for each site is a big part of why companies continue to call on McIntyre Crane & Rigging for their hoisting needs

From the first lift plan to the final placement, every successful project starts with the right people, equipment, and planning
McIntyre Crane & Rigging supports heavy civil and construction projects across Western Canada with mobile cranes, transport trucks, trailers, experienced operators, and a crew that knows how to bring it all together
Whether we’re moving precast, transporting equipment, placing rebar, setting forms, or handling a major lift, our goal is to build the right solution around the project
The crane is only one part of the operation. It’s the planning, transportation, equipment, operators, riggers, and communication behind it that keep everything moving
Since 2010, McIntyre has been building those capabilities to support our partners from start to finish

Our 200-ton Demag was loaded up with counterweight and ready for another vault lift
Heavy civil construction often involves more than simply getting a crane to the site. Materials and equipment need to be transported, unloaded, positioned, and placed with the right equipment and planning behind every step
With our fleet of transport trucks, trailers, and mobile cranes, McIntyre Crane & Rigging can support projects from delivery through to placement. Our crews regularly transport and hoist precast concrete, deliver and place rebar, move concrete forms, handle heavy equipment, and much more
Having the right equipment in-house allows our team to build solutions around the needs of each project, whether that means coordinating transportation or selecting the right crane and setup for the lift
Since 2010, McIntyre Crane & Rigging has supported heavy civil construction across Western Canada with experienced operators, specialized equipment, and turnkey lifting and transport solutions

Steel er****on is a key stage in bringing a building from the ground up. Once the structural steel arrives on site and is organized in the laydown area, cranes, riggers, and ironworkers assemble the structure one lift at a time
At McIntyre Crane & Rigging, we work closely with steel er****on crews to provide the right crane, setup, and operator for the job. From planning access and positioning to maintaining efficient reach throughout the project, our team helps keep steel moving safely and efficiently
With a diverse fleet and experienced operators, we can support steel er****on projects across a range of sites and building sizes

Steel er****on is all about having the right setup from the start
For this school expansion, we brought in our Manitex 50-ton boom truck with Beebs behind the controls. The site layout gave us a great opportunity to position the crane for strong coverage across the building, helping the crew keep the steel moving efficiently throughout the day
Choosing the right crane, finding the most effective setup, and pairing it with an experienced operator all play a big role in keeping an er****on project moving. When those pieces come together, the ground crew can stay in rhythm and keep the structure taking shape

A new service truck for our shop crew!
These boys have been putting in the work, keeping our fleet running and heading out to jobsites whenever our equipment needs attention. With the fleet continuing to grow, it was time to add another truck to help the team keep up with everything happening across Greater Calgary
From making sure our cranes are ready to handle 20,000 lb concrete panels to keeping our boom trucks moving through multiple deliveries and lifts in a day, fleet service plays a big role in keeping our operations moving
It’s an area we don’t always talk about, but it’s a huge part of what happens behind the scenes at McIntyre. This new truck gives the crew more flexibility to split up, get where they need to be, and keep our equipment working when our partners need it
Another step forward as we continue to grow our fleet and our ability to be your partner in hoisting

It takes a good crew to make a crane like this work to its full potential
Our 300-ton Liebherr LTM 1250 has opened up new opportunities for the McIntyre crew, from heavy concrete panels to long-term projects where having the right equipment on hand makes a difference.
But the crane is only one part of it. Good planning, experienced operators, communication and a crew that knows how to work together are what bring the whole operation together.

It’s crazy to see how far Beebs has come, but the confidence, work ethic, and willingness to learn were there from the start
Confidence and a willingness to learn can take you far in this industry. At McIntyre, we’re always looking to give our people the opportunity to take the next step in their careers and build on what they already know
One of the things that makes that process special at a family-owned company is having experienced operators and crew members who are willing to pass on what they’ve learned. Our veterans aren’t just leaders on the job, they’re teachers, mentors, and people the next generation can learn from
You really couldn’t ask for a better crew!
