Their volunteers are there when our community needs them most. Help us give back and support the incredible work they do! 🙌

Great job Susan thanks for sharing your knowledge with the kids at Sanctuary Pre-Teen Centre ☺️

TRAINING ANNOUNCEMENT
CSAR will be training near the Castlegar Golf Course this evening from 18:00-21:30

A delighted thank you to Virtue Tea for their generous donation to CSAR members. Thanks for keeping us nourished on tasks & training. A good cup of tea is always appreciated 🍵☺️

Last Wednesday, members of CSAR participated in an all-member scenario training event, simulating a call for an overturned watercraft and missing subject on Arrow Lakes.

Members of our Swiftwater team were in action on our Seadoos and rescue jet boat; medical and ground teams were deep in the trees practicing medical treatment and patient transport; and the drone team used thermal imaging to locate the subject while keeping an eye on the team from the air.

We’d like to extend a very heartfelt thank you to Keegz South Country Towing!! We had a major vehicle breakdown just as we were leaving Syringa park, and Keegz arrived promptly and professionally to ensure our truck made it back to town, despite the late hour. Thanks again!

Thank you to Chances Castlegar for this great opportunity of recognition for First Responders and Health Care Workers!

Keep an eye out on our pages for something special coming in September 🤩

Heroes deserve recognition! 🙌

This August, we're showing our appreciation for the incredible First Responders & Health Care Workers who keep our community safe and healthy every day. 👨‍⚕️👩‍🚒🚑
