We are a supplier of high quality insects to collectors, artists and researchers worldwide. We specialize in butterflies, moths and framed specimens.
Well, our booth is fully set up and we are open for business here at the Lloydminster tattoo expo. The show is on today, Saturday and Sunday. Come on down and check us out.
We decided to do a last-minute show luckily we got in and will be coming to Lloydminster this weekend for the border city tattoo show!
Thank You Border City Tattoo Show for finding a spot for us.
And yes, these vampire butterflies will be available this weekend at the show! I made these specifically to be available this weekend.
See you soon!
I started hunting and collecting butterflies when I was 6 years old. It’s something I love doing and I have never stopped. A common question I get from the public is how long does it take me to make my art.
Spreading butterflies is the critical step in my process so I will cover that and go over how many butterflies I have spread in my life so far. The numbers I give in this video are approximations as I don’t have an exact tally. But I think you’ll find it interesting the speed, the accuracy and the quantities that I have done in the last 45 years.
The video is NOT sped up. And the video running continuously on the right has no edits. So you can see in realtime what I can in less than 9 minutes.
Enjoy!

I captively bred these beauties and decided to document the process. This is Papilio bairdi f. nitra emerging from its chrysalis.
I collected the parents from Wintering Hills near Drumheller in Alberta. These are amongst my favourite butterflies in this province.
