In essence,Trinity Sunday celebrates the mystery of God.
And so, in this ritual of crushing grapes for the wine and eating bread for the feast,
we acknowledge that we are a part of this mystery too.
That the God who invites us to come to the table is
the God we see in Jesus who ate with friends,
feasted with sinners, and called out corruption
even while sitting around a table to eat.
See, this table holds so much.
Maybe more than we can ever get our minds around.

CALL:
The Spirit of God
opens us to our own stories.
In our time, in our place,
giving us the wisdom to sense the presence of the Creator
in challenges, in celebrations, and in the ordinary every day.

RESPONSE:
Come Holy Spirit,
draw us into love,
and nearer to friends and strangers.
