Distractions are the silent thieves of productivity and calm minds.
We often don’t realize we’re being pulled in different directions.
Running from one task to another without making real progress.
It can feel like you’re under a mountain of bricks.
Here’s the scoop: the first step to come out from under those bricks is to recognize you’re under the bricks.

…we often forget that what we’re searching for is already inside us…we just need to give it to ourselves. 👀
>> Create your own closure - an apology will only do so much 💥
>> Big yourself up and flex your confidence muscle - manager’s words can be fleeting 🙌🏼
>> Find what energizes you that’s not in a cup or a fridge - maybe a lil dance party! 💃🏼 🕺🏾

Do you ever find yourself scrolling mindlessly, and before you know it it’s 2 am and you’re going to sleep much later than intended? 🙄
Do you wake up, roll over and grab your phone right away, to see all the notifications, and you feel the anxiety spike? 😳
Do you feel fomo or anxiety when you’re away from your phone? This is called nomophobia…yep there’s an actual term for this stress state. It’s real 🤯📱
Our digital lifestyle has a huge impact on our daily life and mental state, so intentional use is CRUCIAL. It’s too easy to get sucked into the black hole of the digital world. Studies show that the more unintentional social media use we engage in, the more it triggers an anxiety and stress response in our brain! 🧠🖥📱💻
On this note, I’ve decided to take a lil break from IG and Facebook…to consume less and be more intentional about my use and my shares.
