Let’s come together to make our neighbourhood cleaner and greener! The Bankview Community Association is excited to host our Community Cleanup Day, a great opportunity to responsibly dispose of items you no longer need while giving back to the community you love. This event runs smoothly thanks to the generous support of community volunteers.

We have two easy ways to get involved: Field Volunteer (Full Event: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM) Be the friendly face that greets your community! Field volunteers help residents drop off their recyclable goods and keep things running smoothly throughout the day.

Walk-Around Volunteer (1-Hour Shift) Got just an hour to spare? Join a walk-around group to help tidy up the neighbourhood streets and green spaces.

Every little bit makes a big difference!

Are you tired of the monotony of adulthood? Are you missing whimsy in your everyday life? Do you wish you could just be a kid again? Now is the time to tap back into your inner child’s wisdom and freedom of expression by joining us on Sun March 1 to move, play & just get weird.

You will be led by two priestesses of Ham - Sami & Aria, who both have deep passion & experience in holding intentional space, inner child work, and overall being goofy little goblin ladies. Our hope for you through participating in our variety of activities and grounding exercises is to help in regulating your nervous system while reminding you that life isn’t meant to be taken too seriously. This space is where you can give yourself permission to play again with a group of other adults that are also tired of business suits and office meetings.

Embark in the journey of curiosity, imagination, and connection with us while being hand in hand with your little self. This is just the opportunity child you has been waiting for.

Bring a trinket (or a few) to give to the take-one leave-one table (this can be anything from a rock, to a rubber duck, to a necklace. Any trinket is a good trinket)

The Little Kickers Calgary NW & Central indoor Soccer program for kids (18 mos - 8 yrs) continues at Bankview Hall every Saturday until the end of April so sign-up now! Little Kickers ⚽️ is back at Bankview & going strong every Sat morning until May! These indoor classes for kids (1.5-8 yrs) teach soccer in a fun & pressure-free environment so they’re more likely to stay healthy & active throughout their lives. Classes also help to stimulate imagination & aid early development skills such as learning colors & numbers, following instructions & playing as a team. What better time to "kick-off" a new Sat morning routine, so register now! ⚽️

Toddler soccer training and development for children 18 months to 8 years at Little Kickers Little Kickers® offers four different classes tailored to each age group to give children a positive introduction to sport in a fun educational environment!

As you are aware, a break on the Bearspaw South Feeder Main has affected The water supply. With the feeder main out of service, we are relying on the smaller Glenmore Water Treatment Plant and a finite supply of water in the Glenmore Reservoir to meet demand for treated water. As a result, and until feeder main repairs are complete, Calgary remains under Stage 4 Water Restrictions.

Here’s how you can help in your daily routine:
Fix leaking taps in kitchens, laundry rooms and washrooms, etc.
Identify areas / processes for increased water efficiency for daily operations.

Flush toilets only when needed.
Run dishwashers and washing machines only when full.
Shorten showers to three minutes or less.
