CELEBRATION TUESDAY 💚✨

That’s a wrap on our 2026 season 🥌

From bonspiels across Alberta to winning the Medicine Hat U18 Cash Spiel and qualifying for U18 Provincials, this season was full of growth, challenges, and memorable moments. We learned a lot about resilience, teamwork, and showing up for each other every time we stepped on the ice.

As most of us head into post-secondary plans, this team's chapter comes to a close. We’re proud of what we built together and the friendships that will last well beyond the ice. 🍀

What a special way to wrap up the 2025/2026 Advanced Junior Team Program at North Hill Curling Club 🎉

This program is all about helping junior teams and their coaches grow to the next level of curling competition while building their identity within the curling community.

We were proud to attend the season-end banquet celebrating the athletes, coaches, and all the hard work that went into this season.

A few special acknowledgements:
👏 Clara & Kaitlin for earning Highest Team Average in the Hot Shot contest (with Coach Mike contributing to the team effort—and taking top individual honours!)
👏 Kieran for receiving the program's Sportsmanship Award, as voted by her peers (thank you Reese M & Nolan D for the heartfelt words)

We wrapped up the Marc Kennedy Junior Classic () with a 3–1 record. Unfortunately, we didn’t advance to Sunday finals after coming up just short on the L*D tiebreaker. It was a disappointing way to end but we enjoyed the chance to curl in this fun event. 🍀 🥌

One of the highlights was the dinner & dance, where we had the chance to see Marc’s Olympic gold medal IRL 👀. Such a cool experience! 🥇

Huge thanks to the entire MKJC crew (especially Nicole, pictured here with us) as well as our hosts and volunteers at the Edmonton, Sherwood Park, Lancaster, and St. Albert curling clubs for hosting over 80 teams at this amazing event.

And as always, a big thank you to our incredible sponsors for making weekends like this possible, and to our parents for everything you do behind the scenes to support us. We truly couldn’t do this without you 💚👏

We split our games today to finish with a 3-1 record. Unfortunately, this isn't strong enough to advance to the quarterfinals on Sunday. We're looking forward to the dinner and dance tonight to celebrate the end of our U18 season. 🥌🤠

We’re in Edmonton this weekend for the Marc Kennedy Junior Classic 2026 (), with a full round robin schedule ahead. 🍀

Round robin play kicks off Friday, with playoff spots on the line heading into Sunday. Stay tuned for updates and results throughout the weekend! 💪

March marks our last month of competition. We’ll wrap up the season at the Marc Kennedy Junior Classic in Edmonton and area curling clubs later this month. 🍀
