CBA Raised: Kennedy Blaskin is a 9 year CBA player who played for the Western Canada Redhawks in high school.  She is now playing for the University of Lethbridge women's team.  Kennedy is working towards a public health degree and plans on going to medical school.⁣

Maddy is in Health and Physical education where she is planning on getting a degree in Physiotherapy to become a prosthetist. ⁣

We are excited and proud to announce that CBA Boys’ Coach is the 2021/22 winner of The Wayne Embry Fellowship with the !

Congratulations ! Your CBA family is super proud of you!

The provides one Canadian with the opportunity to gain firsthand experience in a professional basketball environment.

The fellowship consists of rotations to provide growth of knowledge and experience in all facets of an NBA basketball team. These include: coaching, scouting, team services, player development, medical, financial, equipment, travel and G-League with . Each rotation will include a mentor and specific responsibilities in order to learn the role that each department plays within an NBA organization. Fellows also have the opportunity to gain event operations experience at NBA Summer League and Basketball without Borders world camp held during NBA All-Star weekend.

- 1st African American GM & President of an NBA club with the in 1972
- 11-year career as a player in the NBA, including 1 as an NBA champion, and Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer.
