A new gardening cycle has begun in Manchay, Peru. Students are starting with the fundamentals, learning to till the ground and fertilize the soil, as part of the Gardening Training Center. This program equips participants to grow and harvest crops in an arid climate, building skills that support food production and long-term sustainability.

Our ESL class has officially restarted! At Communities for Life, we believe language is a bridge to connection, confidence, and opportunity. We’re proud to walk alongside our Manchay community as they grow, learn, and build a stronger future together.

We couldn’t be prouder of our cabinet-making class as they build and create elaborate cabinets. These skills will help these individuals find work and employment after graduation.

We are happy to share that the new house is now complete, with all electrical and drywall installed. We look forward to sharing more updates with you in the coming weeks as the house nears completion for a local family.

A new group of students have started taking our balloon course, where they learn to design wonderful, creative party favors and archways for many celebrations in their communities.

After a brief break, a new ESL class has started at The Life Resource Center. We are so proud of these students for taking on the task of learning a new language!

Once the gardening students start their gardens, they learn to till the land, lay irrigation pipes, and plant their seedlings. We are excited to see how their hard work pays off!
