Another gardening training session begins!

A new group of participants in Manchay is getting started, learning practical skills they can put to use throughout the gardening program and beyond.

From preparing the soil and planting seeds to caring for crops as they grow, each lesson builds knowledge participants can use to grow vegetables themselves.

We’re looking forward to seeing what this group grows!

It's amazing to see how much our costume jewelry students have learned in such a short time.

With each class, they're learning new techniques and turning their creativity into beautiful handmade pieces. It's exciting to see their confidence grow as they continue developing their skills and bringing their designs to life.

Our barbering students are putting their skills into action by providing haircuts for the local community. Every client is an opportunity to refine their techniques, build confidence, and gain valuable hands-on experience.

From measuring and cutting to assembling each piece, our cabinet-making students are gaining valuable hands-on experience with every project.

We're excited to introduce our new costume jewelry class. In this course, students learn how to design and create beautiful handmade jewelry they can sell for additional income.

Baking is a skill that's learned one step at a time.

In our beginner baking class, students recently made Rosquitas de Anís, traditional Peruvian anise rings shaped by hand and flavoured with anise.

From mixing the dough to carefully forming each ring, every lesson gives students the chance to practice new techniques and build their skills. It’s always exciting to see their progress with each new recipe!

Our balloon-making class teaches students to put their creativity into practice by designing beautiful gift arrangements for special occasions. Every project is an opportunity to build confidence, refine their techniques, and prepare for future entrepreneurial opportunities.

A new chapter has begun for one family in Manchay. 🏡

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters and the determination of this family, they have now moved into their new home and have begun making affordable monthly payments.

Through our Affordable Housing program, we're working alongside families to create safe, stable housing while providing a pathway to long-term independence and sustainability.

Our nail technician class is more than learning a trade – it's about creating new opportunities.

As these students learn a new skill, they are gaining the confidence to pursue meaningful employment and financial independence. And with beautiful nails to top it off!
