Thank you to the Downtown West Community Association - Calgary for hosting another successful annual Recycle & Clean Up Day earlier this month. We were honored to participate for the second year in a row. It's heartening to be part of a community where organizations collaborate to promote sustainability and support residents in their efforts to keep our environment clean.

Thank you to the Downtown West Community Association and all of the volunteers involved for hosting their annual Recycle & Clean Up Day yesterday and for reducing waste through responsible recycling.

We’re proud to be part of a community with such great organizations and people that are committed towards environmental sustainability.

It’s a win-win situation when we can reuse and recycle, while simultaneously supporting great organizations like Habitat ReStore Calgary.

The fact that over 1,000 pieces of furniture from our project at 909 5th Ave SW has not only been diverted from the landfill, but donated to a great cause by Astra Group Corp, is consistent with our mission of improving our communities throughout the development process.

We're thrilled to announce that the public has voted for "The Cornerstone" in the contest.

We believe that downtown revitalization will heavily rely on projects like this, and that our development will be a cornerstone in the vitality of the surrounding community.

It was our pleasure to involve the community on this exciting initiative. Thank you to everyone who took part and congratulations to the winners!
