I am still in pain, but managed to complete a full 42.2km for the first time go this Saturday!

Thank you so much to my amazing marathoner sister .groenewolt for inspiring and motivating me. Even being in the best shape of my life, that was a hard and painful experience.

The Boston Marathon had limited entries this year due to COVID, but opened up the virtual worldwide for people to give it a try in its 125th year. Got to see a lot of beautiful Calgary scenery!

Cochrane Winter Rally this weekend - can’t wait!

Big White Rally 2018

6th overall and 2nd in Production 4wd after day 1 of the Pacific Forest Rally, eventually finishing 9th overall. 2 time national champion co-driver Martin Headland joined the team to call the notes for driver Eric Grochowski at this 5th round of the Canadian National Championship.

Kamunen Racing's driver Eric Grochowski and co-driver Leanne Junnila at the 2017 Rocky Mountain Rally, round 2 of the Canadian National Championship. 5th overall and 2nd in the Production 4wd category.

2nd place in SP2 category at the 60th annual Knox Mountain Hillclimb and a 4 second improvement on our times from last year. Good shakedown for the Rocky Mountain Rally!

Managed another 2nd in Production 4wd, this time at the Kananaskis Rally, the penultimate round of the Western Canadian Rally Championship. The highlight of the event was running 3rd overall for the first half of the rally - but we were not able to match the speed of the turbo cars to hang on to the podium for the last 2 stages. Had a great time though.

Round 5 of the Canadian Rally Championship was in Merritt BC at the Pacific Forest Rally, where we managed a 2nd place in Production 4wd. It was great to have regular co-driver Leanne Junnila back. Thanks again to Peter MacDonald for the pics.
