Imaginary Wars

Games Workshop New Releases for Saturday, September 12th!

Alas, all of our Custodes Battlegroup boxes are now spoken for 😕

DID YOU KNOW
If you talk to us on the Sunday that GW announces its upcoming preorder, we can virtually guarantee that we'll be able to get any of that day's announced products for you?
(For reference, the announcement date for the Custodes Battlegroup box was on Sunday, August 23rd)

ON OUR GAME TABLES TOMORROW:
BATTLETECH ALPHA STRIKE!

An afternoon of playing Battletech's mass-combat mech battle game in a casual and beginner-friendly setting awaits you tomorrow from noon until 4pm!

THURSDAY-NIGHT GAMING AT IMAGINARY WARS!

As with every Thursday, last night, our tables hosted Age of Sigmar gaming! Not only were all of our wargaming tables full, but we also had AoS: Spearhead gaming going on as well!

If you're new to Age of Sigmar, you've got a place to play on Thursday nights with Age of Sigmar's Spearhead side-game!

(Spearhead is the more tactical version of the Sigmar game that streamlines the rules and uses set armies from all the regular AoS factions--each aptly-named "Spearhead" army box set gives you a complete army gor the Spearhead game!)

ALSO FOR BEGINNERS:
Be sure to watch the Imaginary Wars page for our next Learn-to-Play Day this October!
(exact date still to be determined).

PREBUY PROMOTION!

Unstoppable: Dungeon Crawler Carl!
(Arrives late November, 2026)

Unstoppable is a solo or cooperative card-crafting game where you’ll need to level up your abilities to have a shred of hope. Train, upgrade, and become unstoppable!

This version of Unstoppable is set in the 18-floor World Dungeon of the Dungeon Crawler Carl novel. Fight your way through mobs and bosses as Carl or Princess Donut! Play solo or bring along a friend for a co-op crawl!

With this card-crafting system, each card is a sleeve with swappable parts. You’ll craft and customize your cards as you play! The power curve in this “momentum builder” gives you a fighting chance against the threats you’ll face.

Explore a single floor of the World Dungeon each time you play. This box contains the first three floors. In true roguelite fashion, however, only a few benefits that you purchase with XP will carry over to the next floor!

ahahaha

Probably best not to question what our goat overlords demand...
