Stroke survivor Anne Bosman ready to strut the runway as part of the Heart Truth Fashion Show Anne Bosman will walk for her daughter and granddaughters.

Anne will be celebrating her 85th Birthday on April, 15th, 2014. This is a day to celebrate as only a short year previous she was fighting the battle of her life....recovery from a major stroke.

The stroke happened early on February 19th, 2014, unsuspecting like a Tsunami after an earthquake. The stroke took away all of her bodily functions, including her ability to speak and utilization of her arms and legs. She was bedridden for what was believed the balance of her life.
Since those first weeks and months, with great medical care and family by her side, Anne has almost fully recovered. Anne is the perfect candidate for HeartTruth not only because of her survival story but also for her love of fashion. She spent 27 dedicated years at Belissima, retiring at the ripe age of 82 “making everyone feel beautiful “ now it’s her turn to walk down the runway as the ideal symbol of courage, passion and health. Michelle has been involved in the fitness and health community for the last 8 years, starting off as the Advertising and Marketing Director of Inside Fitness Magazine. Michelle is a barre instructor at The Sweat Lab in Calgary, www.thesweatlab.com.
Michelle is married to the NHL’s Calgary Flame Brian McGrattan, and keeping him in tip-top shape is a main priority. You can also find her published food and nutrition articles in Inside Fitness Magazine.

Michelle is going to be a stunner in this creation by Danielle Cameron. Brian McGrattan will be walking Michelle down the runway as the Heart Truth honorary male.
