We’re excited to share a new partnership with our neighbours at The Manor Village Life Centers Rocky Ridge, located right here in the same building as the Lake Club facilities. As part of The Lakes at Rocky Ridge HOA community, Manor is opening its doors to us and with Alberta Seniors’ Week coming up, it’s the perfect time to come together and celebrate!

We warmly invite all Lakes at Rocky Ridge community members aged 65+ to join us for a Seniors’ Week Carnival Party filled with light snacks, games, and great company as we connect with our friends from Manor.

You’re welcome to enter through the Lake Club elevator into Manor. After the event, you can return the same way through the Manor lobby, down the elevator, and back to the Lake Club/Pavilions parkade.

We had a great turnout at this year’s community Easter egg hunt! 🐣

The kids had so much fun with the Easter Bunny, cotton candy, and all the activities. It was a really fun day all around! A big thank you to our volunteers for making it happen and to our photographer for capturing the moments.

We’d like to inform you that a large bobcat has been spotted on the pathway between the Pavilions I and the Georgetowns, along the path leading up the hill.

A big thank you to the community member who safely snapped the attached photos and shared them with us so we could alert everyone.

While bobcats are typically shy and tend to avoid people, we kindly ask everyone to remain alert and use caution when out walking, especially during early morning and evening hours.

A few quick reminders:

➡️ Please keep pets on a leash at all times
➡️ Avoid approaching or feeding wildlife
➡️ If you encounter a bobcat, give it space, stay calm, and slowly back away
➡️ Keep small pets and children close by

We’re excited to share that we’re hosting a Costco clothing vendor at the Lake Club tomorrow, Thursday, February 5, from 11 AM to 3 PM in the Activity Room.

The vendor will be selling Costco clothing items that have been removed from store inventory, all at reduced pricing so there should be some great deals to browse. They’ll be accepting cash, e-transfer, debit, and credit (please note that credit card purchases will have a 3% service fee).

Feel free to stop by, have a look, and do a bit of shopping with us. You’re welcome to bring along friends or family and make an afternoon of it.
