Congratulations to all of the Washington Calligraphers Guild Graceful Envelope Contest Winners!
2026 THEME: GREAT BEGINNINGS
And a very special CONGRATULATIONS to Valerie Louis, one of our very own talented calligraphers! Way to go Valerie!
Entrants were asked to celebrate an event that marked the beginning of something new—such as a collaboration, discovery, invention, or movement—that proved beneficial to society. Entries were judged by the representation of the contest theme, the quality of calligraphy or artistic lettering, and effective use of color and design including the incorporation of postage stamp(s).
We can’t wait to hear next year’s theme!
And once again, Happy 50th Anniversary to the Washington Calligraphers Guild!
