This home is now fully developed and ready for construction—but getting here took time, collaboration, and careful refinement.

We worked closely with our client through multiple rounds of revisions, adjusting the layout, proportions, and key functional elements to ensure the design truly supports how they want to live.

That back-and-forth is an essential part of the process. It’s where ideas are tested, improved, and aligned.

The result is a complete, coordinated set of working drawings that a builder can confidently take into construction.

Elevation Design Edit – Prairie Style

This project started with two elevation options that just didn’t land: Arts & Crafts and French Country. The homeowners were clear — they wanted something cleaner, simpler, and more Prairie-inspired.

With a 3-car front garage, character can be hard to achieve, especially when the front door is often the only standout feature.

To soften the elevation and add warmth, we designed an optional Prairie-style dormer, bringing balance and architectural interest while keeping the overall look refined and understated.

Sometimes it’s the subtle changes that make all the difference.

✨ Easton 42 | French Country Elevation ✨

This clean and stylish French Country elevation brings timeless charm to a modern family home.

For a 42’ wide lot, incorporating a full two-storey front window is truly spectacular — filling the foyer and stairwell with natural light while creating a strong, elegant streetscape.

It’s a great example of how thoughtful design can elevate a home, regardless of lot width.

This Brentwood family wanted their home to work better for day-to-day life, so we focused on improving function within the existing layout rather than adding square footage.

Through thoughtful planning, we were able to add a primary ensuite, improve the mudroom layout, and rework storage — all while keeping the changes practical and build-friendly.

One of my favorite parts of designing homes is creating spaces that feel special — not just functional.

This kids’ reading nook sits under low ceilings and is accessed by ladders from each bedroom. It’s quiet, cozy, and completely theirs.

Design moments like this remind me that great homes aren’t just built — they’re experienced. 📚✨
