🏆 AUGUST STUDENTS OF THE MONTH — JACK & DECLAN
When Jack first walked through our doors a couple years ago, he was big into cycling and powerlifting. He was looking for something that fit a little better with family life, and that eventually led him to Jiu-Jitsu.
About a year later, he brought Declan in with him.
Declan definitely came in with some energy 😂 and it took a little time to reel him in, but he’s come a long way. He listens well, trains hard, stays disciplined and doesn’t shy away from being challenged.
One of the things I admire about Jack is pretty simple — he keeps going.
Jiu-Jitsu is hard. Some days you feel like you’re getting it, other days you feel like you suck. But if you keep showing up, you learn, you adapt and eventually you get better.
Jack has shown that resilience over time, and now I get to watch Declan start developing some of those same qualities right beside him.
Pretty cool seeing a father and son grow through Jiu-Jitsu together.
