When you pack a school kit, you are helping kids like Samrawit Mawucha, a grade 4 student in the Tigray region of Ethiopia. ✏️💛

Samrawit dreams of becoming a pilot when she grows up and enjoys studying Mathematics.

Samrawit's school kit was distributed by MCC partner Meserete Kristos Church's Development Commission (MKC-DC). MKC-DC supports vulnerable children in the area whose families are unable to send them to school.

This summer, help 30,000 kids like Samrawit attend school by donating 30,000 school kits by August 31. Whether you assemble 1 or 100 kits through our School Kit Challenge, your generosity will help kids around the world learn and grow.

Bu there's more! Post a photo of your school kit packing group on social media, and you'll be entered to win a pizza party courtesy of MCC. Two prizes will be given — one for the most creative photo of school kits and one for the most school kits shown in a single photo.
