Some of you know this already but now it's official: as of today, Rhodehouse Records is on indefinite hiatus. I will no longer be working with bands or releasing records until further notice. All remaining inventory of previous releases has been released to the bands; contact them directly for physical copies. It was fun while it lasted, buds! See you on the flipside!

Rhodehouse Recommends, #2! I will probably never stop evangelizing this record. Underrated fuzzy melodic with thoughtful lyrics. FFO Dinosaur Jr, probably. Melon Shambles made an appearance on many a Potato Rocket set list, the first couple years we were together, but I think my favorite song on here is Teenage Pricks.

Rhodehouse Recommends: a new series of posts where I will post a record that I like along with a very brief blurb about it. I'll try to keep the blurbs from being too non sequitor-y.
Here's the first one. I was listening to this while driving around today, trying to find a place where I could buy a bicycle helmet without waiting in line on the sidewalk. I failed in that quest, but I got to listen to a great album, so I consider the day a success! Favorite track: Saturated Sponge
