NORTH OF 60 PROJECT
People. Teamwork. Community.
Our North of 60 Project team works alongside northern communities in the Northwest Territories to help respond to requested needs and support local initiatives.
Since 2010, SSVP volunteers from Edmonton and Calgary have helped provide food support, household items, bedding, sewing supplies, sports equipment, and other needed items for Arctic communities. What we do is built on long-term relationships, trust, and teamwork. It is made possible through the efforts of volunteers, donors, community partners, and the transportation support that helps move these supplies north.
