This trip was the perfect mix of team building and a bit of time to recharge. In commercial real estate, there is never truly a full day off. Calls get taken, emails get answered, and deals keep moving, even with an ocean view.

What made this trip stand out was the time spent together.

Getting out of the office gave us the chance to connect in a different way and appreciate what we have built as a team. We genuinely enjoy working with each other, and that shows in everything we do.

We all bring different strengths to the table, along with along with areas to improve, and that is exactly why it works. We support each other, challenge each other, and find a way to keep pushing forward, whether we are in the office or a little further from home.

A few laughs, a few work calls, and a lot of appreciation for the team around us.

Grateful for this group.

One of our favourite days of the year is officially wrapped.

JLL’s 10th Annual 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament was another great one, and this year felt even more special getting to host it at a new venue, Jack Simpson Gym at the University of Calgary in support of the Breakfast Club of Canada
Proud to share that together we raised over $30,000.

Over the past few months, members of the JLL Calgary office have spent several lunch hours volunteering at The Salvation Army’s Centre of Hope.

Our team helped serve lunch, support kitchen operations, and assist with clean up while connecting with the incredible staff and volunteers who keep this important service running every day.

These volunteer opportunities reflect our Calgary office’s ongoing commitment to giving back and supporting the meaningful work The Salvation Army does in our community.

Experiences like this are a great reminder of the impact local organizations have across Calgary and how giving a little time can make a difference.

Please join us in welcoming the newest member of our team, Tim Nguyen.

Tim joins the JLL Calgary Office Leasing team as a Property Marketing Associate, supporting maternity leave coverage, and is excited to deliver high-impact marketing support for our office leasing professionals.

With a decade of experience producing compelling visual content and campaigns, Tim brings strong commercial storytelling skills that translate directly to commercial real estate, including building positioning, brand-aligned collateral, and polished materials that help landlords and brokers stand out in a competitive market.

Over the past ten years, Tim has worked as a freelance visual asset creator for Calgary’s performing and visual arts organizations, producing impactful photography, video, and promotional design. He has also served as an executive board member for TEDxYYC and as a panelist with the Exposure Photography Festival. Tim’s background also includes education and mentorship through roles as a professor at Mount Royal University, a live streaming consultant at the University of Calgary, and a mentor to high school students learning art and photography fundamentals.

Our team supported on site operations by helping serve and clean up breakfast, preparing lunches, and gaining firsthand insight into the vital impact The Salvation Army has on individuals and families in need.

As the largest nongovernmental direct provider of social services in Canada, The Salvation Army delivers critical support to society’s most vulnerable populations. Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 5th Annual Golf Tournament in support of the Breakfast Club of Canada!

Your participation, and generosity made this year’s tournament a truly memorable and fun event. Together, we raised more than $ $88,000.00 in support of programs that ensure children begin their school day with a nutritious meal.

We are proud of the community we have built through this annual tournament and grateful for the opportunity to give back. The funds raised will directly support and strengthen local breakfast programs in Calgary schools, helping more children start their mornings with the energy and focus they need to succeed.

On August 25, 2025, our JLL Calgary Office Leasing Team, together with our Industrial Team, had the privilege of co-sponsoring and attending the 3rd Annual Ryan Chen Memorial Golf Tournament. It was a beautiful day spent honoring Ryan’s courageous spirit and the lasting impact his legacy continues to have, while raising funds in support of the Alberta Children’s Hospital and pediatric oncology.

The Ryan Chen Memorial Foundation is dedicated to assisting children and families navigating childhood cancer, supporting promising research, and building an endowment to provide scholastic scholarships in Ryan’s memory.

We are grateful to Eugene Chen, Josephine Yu, and Aiden Chen for the opportunity to contribute to this foundation’s work in supporting families, advancing research, and strengthening our community.
