Happy Solstice! ☀️♋️
Today the Sun ingresses into Cancer, marking the June Solstice. For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, it signals the beginning of summer and the longest day of the year. For those in the Southern Hemisphere, it marks the beginning of winter and the longest night.
The cardinal signs: Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn each mark the beginning of a new season, reminding us that tropical astrology is deeply connected to the cycles of nature and the changing light throughout the year.
Happy Solstice, wherever you are in the world! 🌞❄️
Any sign in astrology has the capacity to be empathic or empathetic. Water doesn’t have a monopoly on empathy or intuition for that matter. Being emotional doesn’t mean one is inherently sensitive. I think pop astrology has done a huge disservice in this manner. It’s like saying only one race is capable of being sensitive. Water is simply what it is. Does the ocean have more empathy than the earth?
💦 Water signs may be associated with emotional attunement, feeling states, and permeability to emotional atmospheres.
💨 Air signs can demonstrate empathy through understanding another person’s perspective and experiences intellectually. They may be supportive by checking up on you and showing their concern through words.
🌍 Earth signs often express empathy through practical support, reliability, and tangible care, often being like a rock in times of emotional volatility
🔥 Fire signs can show empathy through encouragement, advocacy, protection, and helping others find courage.
Someone with very little water in their chart can be deeply compassionate. Likewise, someone with a lot of water can be emotionally absorbed in their own experience and not necessarily attuned to others. I have experienced the latter more than I can count.
Astrologically, I would much rather assess empathy by looking at the whole chart—Moon, Mercury, Venus, Neptune, aspects, house placements, dignity, and lived maturity—than simply saying, “This person has a lot of water, therefore they’re empathic.”
ANYONE CAN HAVE EMPATHY AND ANY SIGN CAN ALSO BE A SERIAL KILLER OR PSYCHOPATH.

One of the most auspicious days of the year tomorrow and for a couple days as Venus and Jupiter in Cancer will be conjunct and are both in good signs. Love will conquer all 💜
Poor Uranus in Gemini gets blamed for so many things but it was also the solution to so many things. World war 2 started when Uranus was in Ta**us. It ended because of advancements in technology with genius minds like Alan Turing, btw he was gay so a nice correlation with Pride month right now. Unfortunately people are too caught up blaming Uranus for everything bad. Many peace agreements were made and shifts in thinking as well with Uranus in Gemini. The American civil war started with an earth trine between Virgo Saturn and pluto in Ta**us. It ended with a beautiful air trine between Uranus in Gemini and Saturn in Libra Rx. We usually see changes in government with Saturn retrograde.
Now Neptune in Aries is another story. The warrior meets delusion. The delusion one race is better than another. The delusion a bomb will make a tiny impact, etc. Uranus in Gemini gets us out of fixed thinking and helps us change our perspectives. Liberation from what we are so hell bent on believing. Perhaps we need to look at the bigger picture just like we do with natal charts. Imagine if I judged you on your outer planets alone? What story would that tell us ?
“1858-1866 Uranus in Gemini period, the first transatlantic communication cables were laid down, facilitating direct communication between the United States of America and Europe for the first time. In the 1690-1697 Uranus in Gemini period, the first post office system was established in the American colonies. In the 1440-1447 Uranus in Gemini period, Johannes Gutenberg kicked off the Printing Revolution with the invention of his printing press. So it’s communication that is revolutionized during Uranus in Gemini periods.” Patrick Watson
Maybe it’s a matter of revolutionizing our own thoughts so we can move forward…
Just food for thought, it can’t all be bad, can it ?
How did we wander so far away from the interpretation of the 8th house 🤔
“The eighth house is the portal into the landscape of the underworld into which all life forms die and descend; it stands opposite the second house, the Gate of Hades, from which life and the wealth under the earth rises from the underworld. Entangled with the significations of death, the second and eight. houses both deal with gains and losses of money and substance. While the sec ond house is generally gain or loss from ones own efforts, such as earned is-come, the eighth house designates gain from others, such as unearned income, primarily from inheritances but also dowries, financial assets from marriage or business partners, as well as investments, trusts, loans, alimony, child support, and welfare subsidies. The goods, coins, jewelry, and furnishings buried orit the dead, as well as the distributions of the goods of the dead, including wi legacies, and bequests, were understood as eighth-house matter. The loss d the eighth house were not only people but also finances from busines failure debts, lawsuits, and taxes. The Hellenistic astrologers, in their interpretations of planets in the eighth house, as with its opposite, the second, focused upon the native's general good or bad financial matters.
The Arabic and Medieval astrologers further developed the significatos and procedures for assessing the nature, cause, and timing of death, one's on and that of others, both from the natal chart and in horary inquiries. They formul ed a number of Lots (Parts) that were used in the analysis of this top, sua the Lot of Death, the Lot of the Killing Planet, the Lot of the Year of Danger, br Lot of the Place of Sickness, and the Lot of Distress."
The eighth house was considered weak because it was not connected to the life force. Consequently, its significations included many of the unfortu conditions of life due to this inherent weakness—shortness of life, frailty dae critical illnesses, poverty, failure, subjection to crime. Weakness of the mind wa particularly emphasized by ancient authors, who placed fear and anguish, me tal illness, perceptual deficits (muteness, deafness, blindness, cognitive defos insanity, paranoia, depression, schizophrenia, laziness, sloth (the ancient to of the eighth house was idle) into difficulties encountered in this sector die
problematic for cognitive functions.
human experience. Mercury's presence in this house was considered especially for cognitive function”

I had a reading from a Vedic astrologer and was told I couldn’t finish my divorce process because it wasn’t in my chart. I am legally separated for 10 years now. What’s slowed me down is the fact that he refuses to pay or disclose his finances. ( highly narcissistic)
I will be able to move forward with help from the courts but the astrologer told me I won’t be able to unless I fast on his lunar return monthly. What are your thoughts on this as an astrologer or ethically speaking ?
