Have you ever driven somewhere and realised you can’t remember half the journey? 😄
Or walked into a room and forgotten why you went in there?
Or been so busy thinking about everything else that you weren’t really present at all?
It happens.
Sometimes the simplest thing we can do is come back to where we are.
One breath.
Then another.
💾 Save this and share it with someone who needs it.

I’ve noticed something.
We spend a lot of our lives fixing things.
Problems.
Situations.
Plans.
Other people’s worries.
Other people’s decisions.
Other people’s mistakes.
Nobody asked us to take responsibility for half of it. 😄
Yet somehow we’ve convinced ourselves that if we just think about it long enough, organise it well enough or care about it deeply enough, we’ll make it better.
Maybe not everything and everyone needs fixing.
💾 Save this for the next time you find yourself solving a problem that belongs to someone else.

Panic has a way of convincing you that something terrible is happening.
Usually, it isn’t.
Your body is doing exactly what it was designed to do.
It’s just got the alarm volume turned up.
This is one of my favourite quick-reset techniques because it’s simple and you can do it almost anywhere.

You might not need it today.
But one day you’ll be glad you have it.

Quick question…
When does your head do its best overthinking?
When you wake up? Driving the car? At 3am when you should be asleep? When you’re trying to relax?
Mine seems to save all my embarrassing moments for when I’m walking the dog.
Suddenly I’m reliving something I said in 1997 and wondering why on earth I thought that was a good idea.
I’m curious.
When is your head busiest?

Can I say something slightly controversial?
You can be grateful for your life…and still feel completely overwhelmed by it.
The two aren’t opposites.
You can love your family.
Love your friends.
Love your job.
Love your life.
And still have days where your head feels full.
Where everything feels like a bit too much.
Where you wish everybody would stop needing something from you for five minutes.
That doesn’t make you ungrateful.
It makes you human.
Have you ever felt this way?

I created the Calm Mind Reset Audio because in this Amazon world of “I need relief NOW” … a 15 minute reset tool is gold.
Not because life suddenly becomes perfect. But because most of us don’t actually stop.
We’re either doing something.
Thinking about doing something.
Or worrying about something.
Even when we’re sitting down with a cup of tea.
So I wanted something simple.
No courses.
No homework.
No journaling prompts.
No ten-step morning routine.
Just press play.
Fifteen minutes later you’ll either feel better or you’ll have had a decent excuse to sit down with your eyes closed and your feet up.
And honestly, both are wins.

Something I’ve noticed …
The women I know aren’t sitting around doing nothing all day.
They’re working.
Running businesses.
Looking after parents.
Supporting partners.
Keeping family connected.
Remembering birthdays.
Sorting holidays.
Booking appointments.
Managing finances.
And then they wonder why they’re tired.
Sometimes it’s not what you’re doing that’s exhausting.
It’s everything you’re carrying around in your head while you’re doing it.
What do you think?
❤️ If this resonates.

Have you ever woken up tired after a full night’s sleep… and yet your sleep app tells you you’ve had a 97% night?
You look at it and think, “How can that be true?!”
Because you don’t feel rested. In fact, you already feel behind before the day’s even started.
Sometimes the problem isn’t sleep.
Sometimes it’s thinking.
You can sleep for eight hours and still wake up exhausted if your mind has been running a marathon all week — planning, remembering, managing, worrying, catastrophising.
Physical tiredness and mental exhaustion aren’t always the same thing.

When your mind starts racing, try this.
Look around and notice:
5 things you can see.
4 things you can feel.
3 things you can hear.
2 things you can smell.
1 thing you can taste.
It sounds simple.
Because it is.
And sometimes simple is exactly what we need when our thoughts start running away with us.
