Well the book inspirations are coming along! Could not resist taking a almost finished picture of this one with what inspired me to do this one! It just needs something to hang from but I couldn't be happier with how the carving turned out for a first dive into this beautiful art form! 😍

This one is unfortunately spoken for but we wanted to share. Our sweet little girl has a birthday coming up and for her gift she requested we make something for her. She only requested that the purple heart be used as she loves pink and purple but I think the pinkish red hues of the cherry just make this piece pop just like her bright bubbly personality. So this is for you my sweets I hope you have fantastic special day!

Sometimes your wood shows you pretty things and you have to say "Fine! Screw my idea let's go with yours!", time to do some more shaping and let the wood add the details! And that's today's edition of when the crazy lady hears her sticks talking to her 🤪😘

Well the kids wanted to know what National Day it was today (they wanted it to be hamburger and hotdog day lol). But it turns out it's National Book Lovers Day! So here are some up and coming carving pieces inspired from books around our house! Keep your eyes peeled for updates on these pretties! This one won't be available but will be used as a display as it is too pretty to toss out or repurpose and I did manage to fix it almost seamlessly! Sometimes a design falls apart... literally lol but that is always a chance to learn and improve 😘 cross your fingers nothing else comes apart! (Yes we now incorporate a shock test and have tested our other products to ensure they are up to s***f.) Here is some of the pictures of it through out the process!
