I don't usually get personal on my business Instagram, but today feels worth sharing — 21 years married, and I still feel lucky every single day. ❤️

In a world filled with constant chaos and unpredictability, I want to take a moment to acknowledge and celebrate one very special person in my life — my husband.

We met in 1996 while working at Earls Tin Palace in Calgary. I had just returned from a much-needed gap year in Australia, and he was back in Calgary after completing his service in the U.S. Army (yes — Army Ranger!).

We both took part-time jobs at Earls to help fund completion of our undergraduate degrees, never imagining that years later we’d build this beautiful life together.

J — thank you for being my most loyal, loving, and steadfast partner. You are the rock of our family, my calm in the chaos, and the constant I can always count on. I’m endlessly grateful to be doing life by your side.
