This is very sad news, worked with Laurie for many years doing the CVMG displays
In the annual shows. May she rest in peace♥️ condolences to her family ♥️

Some of you who were at the pre-pandemic motorcycle shows may remember the lady who managed them, Laurie Paetz. We certainly do.

Laurie came up from Calgary for our very first campaign launch 10 years ago this May to see what we were all about. She promptly invited us to exhibit at the motorcycle shows, helping us get in there as a struggling new non-profit. She gave us opportunities to grow.

We have known for some time that Laurie has been ill, battling cancer for the past year and a bit.

This evening we learned that Laurie has passed away. We send our deepest condolences to her family, specifically her children whom you could see the deep bond with, to her partner Roger and to all of her friends, which she has many!

Laurie leaves behind a big hole as very empowered, passionate and determined woman. May she now rest in peace.

Thank you Laurie for all you did for us. We have always remembered and will never forget.

Well the 2025 Calgary International Motorcycle Show is a wrap, and I would like to thank everyone that came out and hung out in the display this weekend. Saw old friends and made new, some amazing connections were made over the weekend. Although there were a few challenges we managed to have all the bike on their way home before 9 pm, almost 2 hours better than last year. Thank you all for making the weekend a success.

Last picture was our alternate method to getting bikes out when the original mode of transportation let us down.

Calgary international motorcycle show 2024, our display has been very well attended with lots of interest in the great stories these machine have brought with them from both sides of the display. Some great memories shared.

STOLEN MOTORCYCLE TRAILER
Last night someone stole Noral member, Albert H.'s pull behind, Mini Mate, made by Kompact Kamp, tent trailer from his locked shed. There is only one of these in Alberta that he knows of.
