This IDAHOBIT, we are asking people to pause before buying more rainbow t-shirts and shots at the bar. Instead, we invite you to provide tangible support to Black q***r and trans people who remain targets of the state for their acts of protest, carrying on the legacy of those who came before us. We truly owe everything to those who put their lives on their line for the liberation of all.

Wake up and smell the bu****it: while CPS uses "staffing shortages" to demand MORE funding, they are more than capable of traveling to so-called Vancouver to "protect" the elite and disgusting FIFA.

The Calgary Police Service is requesting a budget increase to hire more officers when they don’t even have enough people applying. So where exactly will that money be going? Asking for tax payers to pay into 6-figure salaries while the average person can barely afford rent and groceries... ABOLISH THE POLICE.

While bypassing criminal offenses is a good thing, the fact remains that what people actually need is their basic needs met. People steal because of systemic barriers that impact an individuals socio-economic status, leaving them in precarious conditions and circumstances. Until we address the why, people will need to do what they need to do in order to survive.

ICE isn’t the only surveillance apparatus doling out $10k hiring bonuses. Calgary Police are recruiting for “Direct Entry Officers,” who are slated to get their badges in just 7 short weeks.

And despite overall lower crime rates in the city, Chief McLellan is seeking an additional $50 MILLION this year. According to the city’s 2026 budget, CPS’s current net operating budget for 2026 will be $613 million, up 13% from $541 million in 2025.

If only the city used that money to house and feed people, instead of harassing them.
