Sometimes you don’t just guide clients through the process… you go through it with them.
This was their first home purchase, and it came with everything that defines a seller’s market:
The excitement of finding “the one”
The frustration of missed offers
The emotional highs and lows that test your patience (and your mindset)
But here’s what stood out most…
They never backed down.
Offer after offer, we kept showing up.
We kept learning.
We kept finding ways to keep it light, even when “fun” felt like a stretch.
And somewhere along the way, it stopped feeling like a transaction…and started feeling like we were just figuring it out together.
That trust? That’s my fuel!
Being told it felt like house shopping with a friend, while still knowing you’re supported, informed, and advocated for every step of the way…that’s always the goal.
Because buying your first home isn’t just about the end result…it’s about how you feel getting there.
And this one?
It wasn’t just found… it was fought for. 💖

Some client relationships start with a showing…
This one started years ago.
We first crossed paths when we were both working in the home building world…long before kids, life shifts, and everything in between. Thanks to social media, we stayed connected…so when she reached out about buying with her fiancé, it felt incredibly full circle. And honestly, such an honour.
This journey had one of those moments I talk about.
The moment.
I always say…when a client can picture their Christmas tree in a home, I know it’s the one.
But this one went even deeper.
It wasn’t just the Christmas tree.
It was her dad’s chair…a piece filled with love, memories, and meaning.
That’s when you know. 💖
Getting to walk alongside them, not just through the purchase, but through their excitement, their vision, and all the renovation plans that followed, made this experience so special to me.
This is the part of my job that keeps me going!
The trust, the stories, the moments that turn a house into their home.
So grateful you chose me to be part of it.

Sometimes the best relationships start in the most unexpected places.
We met during a home inspection. They were the tenants of a home my clients had under contract. Tenants aren’t usually present for inspections, and knowing their landlord had just given notice so he could sell, I wasn’t sure what to expect.
What could have been uncomfortable turned into an easy, genuine conversation… and eventually, trust.
Instead of renting again, they made the bold decision to buy their first home...in a tough market.
Offers rejected.
Homes missed.
Schedules that didn’t always cooperate.
Emotions running high.
And the house they loved most?
It slipped through their fingers… twice.
The right home has a way of working itself back into your story.
When we finally secured it, the joy hit differently. It was bigger because of the setbacks. Louder because of the patience it took to get there.
First homes are emotional. They’re exciting and stressful and overwhelming all at once. Getting to be the steady voice in that chaos — and watching clients turn into friends — that’s the magic.
Some homes are found - this one was earned.
Some stories take time - this one was worth every second.
And this one? It will always hold a special place in my heart. 💕
🎶The soundtrack of every showing.🎶
I am certain that every house has at least one light switch that does nothing. Why?!
And, I will find it.
Every. Damn. Time. 🤣

There is something extra special about being trusted twice. 💖
The first time, I helped him purchase a home.
This time, I had the honour of selling it...while he and his wife were overseas for most of the process.
This sale had layers!!!
Staging.
Coordinating trades and repairs.
Booking cleaners.
Shovelling snow.
Moving and selling furniture.
Arranging legal referrals and lawyer meetings to have dower removed so signing from abroad was seamless.
Virtual calls to discuss the offers.
And to spice things up even more, they were also finishing up one of Calgary’s home energy efficiency programs, which meant additional documentation, extra contract sign-offs, and plenty of i’s to dot and t’s to cross.
Real estate isn’t always simple. But making it feel simple for my clients? That’s my jam!
A huge shout out to their incredible neighbour who stepped in to help out as well. He let trades in and helped with some yard clean-up. It truly takes a village.
Being trusted again isn’t something I take lightly. It’s something I work to earn every single time. 🏡✨
We talk a lot about falling in love in February… but what about falling in love with where you live?
When I walk through homes with my clients, I’m listening closely. Watching their reactions. Noticing the way they light up.
I see where they’d put the dog bed.
Where the toys might land.
Which wall will hold family photos.
While they’re picturing their life there, I’m making sure we’re looking at it from every angle.
Scanning corners and baseboards.
Noticing small cracks.
Feeling for uneven floors.
Looking up for water stains.
And then stepping outside to connect the home to their lifestyle…the rhythm of the street, the neighbours, nearby green space..the little, but crucial, things that matter to them.
This is not to nitpick, but to make sure they are considering every angle when making a decision this big.
Loving where you live should feel good in your heart, and make sense for your future.
Heart, home, and investment.
I care about all three. 💖

Referrals like this one hit just a little bit different 💖
These two came to me overwhelmed, anxious, and facing a sudden “what now?” moment. Their landlord had just given them notice, they had their old doggo to think about, and there was the very real fear of finding another rental and then to be forced to move again because of someone else’s decision.
So instead, they chose control.
They chose ownership.
Between in-person showings, FaceTime tours, tight timelines, tenant coordination, and more fishing talk than I expected (river proximity was a huge bonus 🎣), we found the perfect fit… dog-friendly, close to the river, room to grow, and finally theirs.
This one took patience (which I have to commend them for, given the circumstances), communication, and a whole lot of relationship-building (which, as you know, is my most favourite part)...plus a few stars aligning along the way. But everyone walked away happy, and that’s the biggest win of all.
So grateful for amazing clients, thoughtful referrals, and happy endings like this one 🏡✨

When people talk about buying a home, we focus a lot on square footage, bedrooms, and bathrooms. And yes, those things matter.
But home is really about how a place makes you feel.
The moment I hear, “This is where the Christmas tree will go,” I know.
That’s it. They’ve found their home.
It’s about who you’re sharing the space with.
It’s where life feels a little easier at the end of the day.
That feeling will always matter more than a minimum square footage ever will.

I get it - choosing a Realtor can feel tough. It seems like every other person you know is one (or knows one), right? Then you check social media and see the spectacularly polished feeds, the stunning listing photos, and the endless posts about how many homes they’ve sold.
Well…I’m here to help you out. Here’s what you should know before deciding if I’m the right fit for you 👇
❌ Don’t hire me if you’re looking for flawless Instagram vibes and a picture-perfect persona.
✅ Do hire me if you want a real person who actually listens, cares, and will go to bat for you (this is not me saying others won't).
❌ Don’t hire me if you don’t like dogs - because even though I try my best, there will probably be a little dog hair tagging along.
✅ Do hire me if you want someone who treats you like family (furry members included).
❌ Don’t hire me if a little dirt under my nails bothers you - sometimes I sneak in a dirt biking ride before showings and, well, it happens.
✅ Do hire me if you want someone who works hard, plays hard, and understands what “home” really means. (I do promise to always shower before we meet though! 😉)
❌ Don’t hire me if you’d rather I keep quiet while you look around a house.
✅ Do hire me if you want someone who will point out the quirks, flaws, and hidden gems in every home we tour - because I want you to know exactly what you’re getting into (and love it).
❌ Don’t hire me if you only want “yes ma’am/ yes sir” answers.
✅ Do hire me if you want honest advice, even when it’s not the easy answer.
❌ Don’t hire me if you expect my life to revolve around real estate 24/7.
✅ Do hire me if you’re okay with the fact that I’m also a busy mom to two active boys - which means I understand real life and what families truly need in a home.
❌ Don’t hire me if you think real estate should feel transactional.
✅ Do hire me if you believe buying or selling a home should feel personal, supported, and even a little fun along the way.
I’m not polished. I’m not perfect. But I am passionate about helping people (especially first-time buyers and sellers) feel confident, informed, and cared for every step of the way. 💛
So if “real” sounds good to you, let’s chat...I just might be your girl! 😁
