Math Mantra

Your child studied for hours… and still got 68%.

Before assuming they “just aren’t good at math” or rushing to hire a tutor, it helps to find out what’s actually going wrong.

A quick message to their teacher can tell you whether the issue is:

* the current topic,
* an older skill that’s causing problems,
* or something else they should prioritize first.

I wrote a simple email template with the 3 questions to ask.

DM me “TEACHER” and I’ll send it to you.

Three factoring rules every high school student should know 👇

((x+3)^2)
((x-3)^2)
(x^2-3^2)

They look similar, but they expand very differently — and mixing them up is one of the most common algebra mistakes.

Save this reel for your next math review 📚

Week 2 of Grade 10 Math is all about factoring—and students can quickly fall behind if they’ve forgotten what they learned in Grade 9.

Comment “10” and I’ll DM you the free one-page refresher I made for my students.

Grade 11 Pre-Calc in September?
These 3 things will hit them Week 1 if they didn't review this summer:

I made a free 1-page refresher. Comment "11" and I'll DM you the PDF.
August spots for my September Reset (2 sessions, Burnaby to Delta) starting soon. DM RESET + grade for info.

Hey, I'm Yash - I run Math Mantra 👋
I tutor Grades 6-12 math in-person across Lower Mainland, mostly at students' homes.

I'm the tutor students actually feel comfortable asking "dumb questions" to. I try to make math less textbook, more understandable.
🎒 Doing a September Reset for students who feel rusty after summer:
Session 1: Review the important stuff from last grade
Session 2: Preview what's coming next so September isn't a shock
If your kid is heading to high school or just wants to start confident - DM me "RESET + their grade" and I'll send you details.
