A. Confirmation Day on Sunday June 14th at 10:30am in Halton congregation
Please pray for all the Confirmands in their final preparation for this special day.

B. Father’s Day breakfast on Sunday June 21st, 2026
Father’s Day (June 21st) is fast approaching. We are still looking for ‘Sister’ volunteers, and financial contributions for food being purchased.
On Saturday June 20th we will be meeting at the church in the kitchen and gym to set up and prepare the food for Sunday’s special breakfast. We are still seeking volunteers, if you can spare any time on Saturday between 9 am and 12 noon please join us!
ou don’t have to come for the full 3-hours, any amount of time you can give, an hour, a half hour, would be a BIG help and very much appreciated!

Death announcement: Apostle Ernst Horn
Date: Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
Location: New Apostolic Church Halton (4209 Palladium Way, Burlington, ON L7M 0V9)
The choir is asked to come early for a practice at 9:15am in preparation to start their program at 10:30am.
As the gymnasium will be used to accommodate overflow attendees, light refreshments will be served in the narthex after the service. A receiving line will also be set up there to greet the family.

If desired, memorial contributions to his beloved New Apostolic Church Foreign Extension would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
Upcoming events:
a) Hamilton District Retirees visit to Battlefield Park on Tuesday June 9th at 12pm
Relax and enjoy the sunshine and scenery from the comfort of your own lawn chair or stretch your legs and take a tour of the museum and tower.We’ll have some games and activities for those who’d like to play! A picnic lunch and bottled water will be provided; participants are asked to bring cookies or squares for dessert. Other things to bring: Hat, sunscreen, lawn chair, a friend.
NOTE: Parking and admission to the park is free. Please speak to Pr Kelly V or Pr Duane L if you need a lift.

Following Service this coming Sunday June 7, 2026, the sisters in the choir are asked to remain in the sanctuary for a VERY brief: 5 - 10-minute practice of one song in preparation for Father’s Day. Please plan on staying for a VERY short practice.

Death announcement: Apostle Ernst HornA funeral divine service for Apostle Horn will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 11:00 AMVenue: New Apostolic Church Halton, 4209 Palladium Way, BurlingtonChoir is invited to sing and should be in their seats at 10:35 AM.Following the service, coffee and donuts will be served.For those that cannot attend in person, the funeral will be streamed live, and a link will be sent out via email as soon as it is available.
3. Confirmation DayOn Sunday June 14th, we will have Confirmation here in Halton. Please pray for all the Confirmands in their final preparation for this special day. The church will be full, so you are encouraged to be early for a place in the sanctuary on that day. Refer to announcement email for list of all the Confirmands.
The confirmation presentation/review will be Tuesday June 8th in Hamilton at 7:30pm.
Open Houses: Please join Halton’s two Confirmands for their open house from 3pm to 6pm on Sunday June 14th. The address was shared in the announcements email.
4. Father’s Day breakfast – Sunday June 21st, 2026. To help with the Father’s Day breakfast please contact Sis Bethany C. You can reach her via contact information provided in the announcements email.

Good Morning,
These are the announcements from May 17th.
1. On Sunday, May 24, all are invited for a special Pentecost divine service broadcast from Cape Town, South Africa. On this festive occasion, Chief Apostle Helper Mutschler will be ordained as our new Chief Apostle, and Chief Apostle Schneider will enter into retirement.
This service will be a delayed broadcast to all congregations. For our congregation, the broadcast will begin at 10:00 AM with a thirty-minute music program, with the divine service beginning at 10:30 AM.
Please continue in prayer as we look forward to sharing this blessed and historic moment together.
*Pentecost Concert
On the occasion of the Pentecost feast, the New Apostolic Church Southern Africa will broadcast the festive concert live online on Saturday, 23 May 2026, at 5:00 PM (South African Standard Time, UTC+2) which is 11am EST. Here are the announcements from yesterday:
1. Tuesday, April 28th - Coordinators and Program Leaders Meeting on in Halton congregation at 7:30PM.
2. Saturday, May 2nd – Everyone is invited to participate in our congregational spring cleaning at 9am. Please see a sign-up sheet on the board. You’re welcome to come do your bit anytime during this coming week if you cannot make it on Saturday morning.
3. Sunday, May 3rd - Tri-District divine service on Sunday, May 3, at 11 AM in Margaret Ave:
- All are invited to join the choir, with rehearsal starting at 10:00 AM. Black-and-white attire is not required.
- As space in the main floor parenting room is limited, the fellowship hall is also available with seating to watch the service and a play area for little ones.
- After service, a lunch fellowship will be provided.
4. Sunday, May 10th – Annual Mother’s Day breakfast in the gymnasium before service. Speak to Pr Greg Carey about donations and ingredients required
5. Thursday, May 14th - We are all invited for in-person divine service for Ascension Day @ 8pm
6. Sunday, May 17th – Baby shower notice: Join Cory Vanderploeg and Erica Miramontes to celebrate at the home of the Vanderploegs. Please refer to the notice included in email.
