Had the most wonderful time up north. 🌲🎣 There really is nothing quite like being surrounded by nature to help you completely unwind.

There was lots of fishing, lots of reading, plenty of bass, and although the elusive pike managed to escape us once again… I would just like it noted that I caught the only walleye of the day. 😉😂

Molly even got in on the action, although judging by the photo, I’m pretty sure she was more interested in kissing the bass than catching one. 🐟💋

We finished off an amazing day on the water with a delicious meal made from our catch by our fishing guide — definitely one of the highlights of the trip.

Feeling rested, inspired and very grateful for the time away. Now it’s back to reality and time to get ready for the season ahead. 🍂🤍

Apparently this is how I vacation… 😂🏖️📿

I may be away for the week, but of course I brought beads with me! Taking a little time to test some new patterns and new colourways — because apparently beading is relaxing, right? 😉
