Spots are limited (as always — small classes, lots of robots, you know the drill 🤖), so if you’ve got your eye on something, don’t wait.

A few of our classes are wrapping up this week, and thanks to the insane number of snow days this winter ❄️ we want to make sure everyone is paying attention to their specific class snow-day makeup date.

Please take a moment to:
• Check the snow day listed for your class
• Double check your email, as we’ve sent updates there as well

With so many different classes running, the makeup dates are not the same for everyone, so a quick look now will save confusion later.

Spring is coming and we could not be more excited. 🌱

Excited for the weather to change. Excited for the snow to melt. And very excited for the winter boot rule to finally come to an end.

Our Spring schedule and registration are now open on the website.

We also know many of you are eagerly waiting for the Summer schedule — trust us, we hear you. Keep your eyes peeled, it will be arriving shortly.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve revised our website to better reflect how students move through our program, our philosophy on learning, and the competitive pathways we offer including FLL, WRO, and VEX. If it’s been a while since you’ve explored it, it’s worth a visit.

We’re also heading into what we consider our 20th year of E-Bots — although in true family business fashion, we still disagree on the exact formal start date. Somewhere between a folding table, borrowed laptops, and a handful of very patient students, E-Bots began — and we are incredibly grateful for how far it has come.

We remain a very small family business with only two full-time teachers, navigating growth and change over the Spring, Summer, and into the 2026 school year.

Our website decided to welcome spring by completely melting down… but thanks to Bill at Lean Web Tools, we are officially back up and running. Chaos contained. Crisis averted. Coffee consumed.
The Spring schedule is now live 🌷

Registration opens Tuesday at 10:00am — and spots always go quickly.

Huge thank you again to Bill for rescuing us from the digital abyss and getting everything restored so quickly.

Our website is currently down, which means we need to postpone releasing the Spring schedule for the moment. We know many of you are waiting for it, and we’re working to get everything back online as quickly as possible.

As soon as the website is restored and the new schedule is live, we will let everyone know right away.

Due to the weather conditions this evening, we will be cancelling the 7:00pm class.

While most families and teachers would likely be able to arrive safely, the conditions later in the evening — particularly around 8:30pm at pickup and when our teachers are heading home — are expected to be significantly worse. Our priority is ensuring that everyone can travel home safely.

While this morning brought a snow day for HWDSB, temperatures have remained above freezing and conditions are stable. Based on the current forecast and road conditions, we will be proceeding with all 5pm classes this evening.

Please allow extra travel time, and do not drive if you are not comfortable. Your safety comes first.

Please check back here at 6pm for an update regarding the 7pm class.

Morning all! If you’re in Hamilton or part of the HWDSB, you may have woken up to the surprise of a snow day today ❄️

We’re keeping a close eye on the weather. Right now, temperatures are expected to stay above freezing, and based on the current forecast and the fact that other boards remain open, we are hopeful that this evening’s 5pm classes will proceed as scheduled.

That said, we will make an official decision by 3pm today once we’ve had more time to monitor conditions.

Please check back here later this afternoon for a confirmed update. Emails will only be sent if classes are cancelled.

Spring is in the air! 🌷🤖

The new E-Bots spring schedule goes live on our site this Saturday at 11:30am.

Take the weekend to look through the classes and plan your schedule, because registration officially opens next Tuesday, February 24th at 10:00am.

Our spring spots usually go pretty fast, so we recommend setting an alarm for Tuesday morning!

Check the link in our bio to see the full lineup starting Saturday. Can’t wait to get back into the lab with everyone!

❄️ Winter Reminder: Boot-Free Zone! ❄️

As of this week (and through the end of March), our facility is officially a boot-free zone. That means:

👢 Boots off at the door
🧦 Socks or clean indoor shoes for class
🧥 Jackets hung at the front (not on chairs or the floor!)
🧣 A cozy sweatshirt underneath is always a good idea

Our space is fully carpeted, and winter salt + wet gear can really damage the floors (and create slippery, soggy spots we’d love to avoid). We’re also finding that jackets coming off mid-class are getting stepped on or caught under chairs.

We’ll remind the kids, but parent support in reinforcing these routines makes a huge difference. Thank you for helping us keep the space safe, dry, and comfortable for everyone! 💙
