Lowry roping arena is host to team roping and barrel racing events. We are located one mile south of Brandon,MB 5 miles west and 1.25 miles south again.
Great barrel racing this past month!
The arena is good however the sky is a little gloomy.... Anybody want to give it a go? Let me know!
MTRA sanctioned roping this Monday, September 12th, 2016. Straight pick. See the MTRA website for details.
The plan is to rope tomorrow night if the rain stops and the arena holds up. Will post an update between 4:30 and 5:00 tomorrow so check back. Should be ready to rope at 7 if it's a go!

Sorry folks... We turned the Ropers back out to grass today. Practice night is cancelled. None of them were too interested in being fitted with snorkels and water wings! This rain can let up ANYTIME now!

Folks we are going to cancel rope practice tonight. Although the arena is in good shape I can't imagine anyone wanting to rope in the rain... See you next Wednesday!
In spite of gale force winds, we patterned a new set of roping steers this weekend! Looking forward to rope nights soon.
