Kicking things up a notch in the Linear Olympics! ⚽ This round had everyone aiming for glory with a soccer net full of scoring pockets. Big shoutout to Guatemala, Mauritius, and Argentina for claiming the top three spots!

Round 4 of the 2025 Linear Olympics brought us Flip Cup (minus the drinks, to everyone’s disappointment).
Cups were flying, tables were shaking, and the teams gave it their all.
Canada took first place this round, with Brazil in second and Guatemala securing third.
Here’s where the overall standings sit after four rounds:
Canada – 6 points
Brazil – 4 points
Guatemala – 4 points
Argentina – 3 points
Turkey – 3 points
Sri Lanka – 2 points
Mauritius – 2 points

⚾ The Linear crew traded automation for action on the diamond! Proud of our crew for bringing the same energy and teamwork to the field as we do in the shop — both on and off the field, we know how to play as a team.

This round of the Linear Olympics had our teams competing in a classic game of co****le. With focused throws and close calls, every point counted in this precision-based challenge.
👏 Congratulations to Team Argentina for taking 1st place, Team Brazil for earning 2nd, and Team Mauritius for finishing 3rd. The competition is getting closer as we move into the next round.

We were proud to welcome Mayor Alex Nuttall to our facility this past Friday for a tour and conversation on the future of local manufacturing and innovation. He was joined by members of the City of Barrie’s Economic Development team, Stephannie Schlichter and Nora Gavarre, as well as Shawn Gibson.
It was a great opportunity to showcase the work our team is doing and connect with city leaders who are championing growth in our community.

After 30 incredible years in the industrial automation industry — including the last 4 years with us at Linear — Kathy Treleaven is officially retiring.
Kathy brought invaluable experience, professionalism, and warmth to our team. Her contributions have made a lasting impact, and her presence will be deeply missed.
Please join us in celebrating her amazing career and wishing her all the best in this exciting new chapter! 💐
This round of the Linear Olympics had our teams lining up at the free throw line for bragging rights and leaderboard points. There were some impressive shots and a few airballs — but in the end, Team Canada came out on top! 🍁🔥
