Glad A Rocha Ontario could attend this weekend's conference!
Wow! What an amazing conference weekend. Thanks University for bringing us all together for ‘To Love this World: Receiving the Gift of Creation.’ It was intellectually stimulating, inspirational, and practical. But most of all, it was so good to gather with others who care about celebrating and tending God’s creation.
Look at all these happy A Rocha friends enjoying each other’s company!

It was a time of learning, conversation, and thoughtful reflection on God’s creation. 🌿
This past weekend, the Albert M. Wolters Centre for Christian Scholarship welcomed guests to Redeemer for To Love This World: Receiving the Gift of Creation, a two-day conference exploring how Christians can respond to God’s world with gratitude, delight, and care.
Through lectures, workshops, and conversations, participants considered how Scripture, theology, science, literature, art, education, and everyday practices can shape the way creation is understood and cared for.

Congratulations to Dr. Ben Peterson, the 2026 Emerging Public Intellectual Award winner.
The EPI award recognizes and fosters emerging talent—those working in the Christian academy who excel in both academic and public spheres and whose work impacts the common good.
The award is hosted by Redeemer University and sponsored by ActonInstitute, Cardus, the Center for Public Justice, the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities, the The Paul B. Henry Institute at Calvin University, the Mouw Institute for Faith and Public Life at Fuller Seminary, and the Reformed House of Studies at Wycliffe College.
Dr. Ben Peterson is exploring how the church can be a sanctuary that builds virtue and hope in an age of confusion and fragmentation. Redeemer’s Albert M. Wolters Centre for Christian Scholarship will welcome Peterson on February 1, 2027 as he gives The World and Our Calling lecture.

Another record for Redeemer University! 🎉
With 1,147 students enrolled, this is the largest student body in Redeemer's history.
This year’s record incoming class includes 394 new students, with 594 students living in residence. The student body also welcomed 25 graduate students as Redeemer launched its first graduate program, the Master of Education.
More students are choosing a Christ-centred community where they can learn, grow and discern how their gifts and callings can be used to serve others.

For over 15 years, the Food Drive has been an important part of Redeemer’s Launch orientation program for first-year undergraduate students. This year, students put their faith into action, collecting over 10,000 lbs of food from the Meadowlands community for Hamilton-based charity, Neighbour to Neighbour Centre.
Bethany Davis, student engagement coordinator, has been leading Launch for eight years and shares what makes this tradition so meaningful.
