Our music video for our song “Well I Do” has been selected for the inaugural Pop Shock Film Festival in LA.

Didn't know I'd one day be writing a sentence like that.

This song came to me quick, and it was pure fun. Matt and Kevin got it right away. Something to turn up and move to. We've been lucky to see people move to it live, from stages big and small, most notably The Legendary Horseshoe Tavern, and as recently as It's Your Festival in hometown Hamilton just a week ago.

I get to switch on my fuzz pedal and belt out some notes! Feels good every time. My guiding light when tracking and mixing was to try to preserve and convey that good feeling.

We wouldn't have a music video without Matt's grand vision, which started simply enough.

“Let's have you drive a cool car around.”

It sounded good. Next thing I know, we've got a hold of a 1976 Oldsmobile Cutlass Salon, a drone, and a rubber duck sporting a cowboy hat.

We shot on two separate days in October 2024, and were spoiled with picturesque fall weather, colours, and views. It helps when you live moments away from vast stretches of bountiful Canadian farmland. I can't tell you how many of our past outdoor shows have been foiled or at least challenged by bad weather, but for this outing it all worked out.

Because Matt had been picturing this thing for months, it took him almost no time to edit the final cut.

The rest as they say, is up on our YouTube.

We (continued in comments)

We're back at Blk Swan Downtown Burlington Sat Jul 11. Music kicks off at 10PM. Rockin'.
