The La Ronge Elks are extremely proud to assist both Gordon Denny and PreCam Community schools in their fundraising efforts for newer, safer and more inclusive playground structures. These playground structures are not only for the schools and students, but for the entire tri-community area.
Another year has come and gone. For a time, the forest fires cast uncertainty over the fair, but thanks to the tireless efforts of the firefighters, we were able to enjoy the weekend. The weather cooperated, with minimal smoke and no rain, making the weekend exceptional.
We would like to extend our gratitude to the numerous groups and individuals whose contributions are instrumental to the fair's existence.
First and foremost, we would like to acknowledge 306 Security and Investigations Inc. for providing exemplary security services throughout the weekend. Their professionalism and thoroughness at the front gate significantly contributed to the smooth operation of the event.
We would also like to thank the RCMP for maintaining a presence at the fair, ensuring prompt attention to any issues that arose.
The La Ronge Youth Travel Club is commended for keeping the grounds immaculate throughout the weekend.
We appreciate the financial contributions from the Town of La Ronge, Village of Air Ronge, and the Lac La Ronge Indian Band towards the security costs.
The Town of La Ronge also provided essential infrastructure, including seats, tables, and bleachers for the beer gardens, bingo tent, and portable stage.
We are grateful to Jude Ratt for organizing and running the talent show, and to JRMCC for managing the ball tournament.
Canuck Amusements is acknowledged for bringing the midway, a crucial component of the fair.
Home Store generously donated two youth bikes for our annual bike giveaway.
We appreciate the diverse offerings of all the food and product vendors, whose presence greatly enhances the fair experience.
Our sincere thanks go to all the volunteers, including those from the Senior’s Bingo, Beer Gardens and other vendor booths and special shoutout to the staff at CNECIP who put quite a few hours in slinging food at the Elks Food Booth.
We also extend our gratitude to each Elks member and their families for their tireless efforts throughout the year in preparation for this annual event.
We hope everyone enjoyed the weekend and look forward to seeing you at the 2026 Elks Fair, scheduled for July 17, 18, and 19.

Just to let everyone know there is no fireworks at the fair. We have not had fireworks since 2004.
Come on out. Weather is great and so is the ball tournament.
Gates open at noon and are closed at 6pm. The midway goes until about 8pm.
If you are not through the gates by 6pm, you will not be allowed entry into the fair. If you leave the fairgrounds after 6pm (for any reason), you will not be allowed back into the fair.
