Natalie Gillis what a shock! An absolute jewel of a human has left us! What a legend, great photographer and motivated adventurer, never met anyone with your beautiful spirit! The world lost a beautiful soul! What an honor to have seen some amazing “locations” with you…Sure you are flying even higher now… you will be so missed, rest in peace Nat.

Expedition team aboard SA Agulhas II discovers wreck of Endurance – last seen in 1915 South Africa’s polar research vessel played a pivotal role in the discovery of a ship that sunk in Antarctica’s Weddell Sea more than 100 years ago.

This is still one of my favorite images of him! A great slow exposure!
Hovering Pied Kingfisher...
Using a slow shutter speed is great to show motion blur in the wings of birds to give a sense of their fast movement.

Pangolin Africa's Director, Toby Jermyn, said in a press release: "This is a huge win for Botswana and The Pangolin Chobe Hotel. The Chobe National Park is the best year-round wildlife photography destination in Africa and we were incredibly proud to be recognized by our peers at such an illustrious event".
