Love means different things to different people, but at its core, it is something we all deserve to experience freely and fully.

Today, LEGABIBO appeared before the High Court of Botswana as part of its application to join the ongoing marriage equality case.

As an organisation that has championed equality, dignity, and human rights for le***an, gay, and bisexual people in Botswana for over two decades, LEGABIBO seeks to ensure that the voices and experiences of LGBTQIA+ people are represented in proceedings that could have far-reaching implications for our community.

The joinder application hearing has been postponed to 14 July 2026, when the Court will hear arguments on whether LEGABIBO may participate in the matter.
