STANDARD 7 RESULTS RELEASED

Botswana Examinations Council (BEC) has released the 2022 Primary School Leaving Examinations (PSLE) results.

A statement from BEC says the 2022 PSLE overall performance indicates that the proportion of candidates obtaining pass grades (Grade E or better), remains almost the same, that is 99.88%, as that of the previous year at 99.85%.

However, the proportion of candidates obtaining credit grades, that is Grade C or better, went down by 1.52%, from 72.01% in 2021 to 70.49% in 2022.

A total of 49, 333 (Forty Nine Thousand Three Hundred and Thirty Three) candidates wrote the 2022 examination showing an increase in candidature of 5% from the 2021 candidature of 46,984 (Forty Six Thousand Nine Hundred and Eight Four).
